Payment Gateway
In this day and age businesses are always looking for secure, hassle free ways of getting paid. No longer is the business owner bound to only receiving payments via cash, cheque or cumbersome and expensive funds transfers, you can get paid instantly by customers in every country the world for nominal transaction fees!
This is the world of the payment gateway. And what a world it is!
Most payment gateways require you to have a merchant account in order to receive funds. Some payment gateways offer integrated merchant account services and others still offer prepaid services or holding services for funds.
My list of payment gateways includes traditional gateways that allow you to process credit card and debit order payments with the use of a merchant account or integrated merchant account. I have also included payment services that provide anything from instant electronic funds transfer services to mobile payment systems and funds transfer through use of prepaid cards or codes. Basically any service or systems that can help you, the business owner, get paid!
