ECHO is the only company on the market to provide a Free Payment Gateway with your Merchant Account.  We actually give away our real time processing software modules and gateway access.

Whether you are looking for a turnkey solution, or want to develop your own, we have what you need at the best prices on the market. Not only can you find complete solutions from ECHO or our affiliates, but also you can get the free software you need to create your own applications that do real time transaction processing!

Our gateway and software also run electronic checks. Or just do a “check verification” in real time. We process check transactions as ACH items and offer complete online ACH Reporting and a Virtual Terminal for checks.

ECHO’s Secure Payment Gateway

The ECHO Payment Gateway service is built around the same set of industry-standard, open interfaces that enable World-Wide Web communications. All transactions use the following well-defined and well-understood technologies:

  • HyperText Transfer Protocol (HTTP)
  • Secure Socket Layer (SSL) Encryption
  • Common Gateway Interface (CGI)

The ECHO Payment Gateway receives messages as if they came from a Web browser. ECHO provides the Web server. The API interface between the ISP and ECHO is the standard HTTP/1.0 (or HTTP/1.1) protocol using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) encryption. The ECHO Payment Gateway recognizes and processes both GET and POST methods.

Transactions are broken up into delimited fields. A transaction is transmitted either in the request header for the GET method, or following the request headers for the POST method
